So the whole blogging thing is about interaction, right? It is very annoying when I type someone a nice comment and then find out that I have to be a registered user of blogger to leave a comment. So, I can’t leave a comment, and I have no way to contact that person to tell them that I would like to leave a comment.
Every blogger loves comments, right? I know I do. [hint, hint]
Blogging Basics 101 has a short post on this today.
I see nothing wrong with moderating comments. Some sites say that the comment is saved and will be visible after the blog author approves it. At least that way I know that the comment got through.
The post I linked to above pointed out that you may not even realize you are not letting comments through. So please check your settings today!
