If my daughter would have been driving a car instead of a tricycle she would have been pulled over for drunk driving. Then they would have given her a sobriety test and she would have passed because there is no way I would allow alcohol anywhere near her.
We were just taking a short walk and everybody but me got to ride. My son was on his two wheeler; my older daughter was on her tricycle; and the youngest daughter was in the stroller.
My son was naturally a good ways in front of us. He knows to not cross the streets until I get there. No problem.
My daughter riding the tricycle was weaving back and forth across the sidewalk clipping the grass on both sides as she tried to observe everything around her and steer. Obviously it didn’t work. At least she didn’t run into the telephone pole this time. Our walk would have been twice as fast if she could have kept the tricycle going in a straight line.
Meanwhile her mouth is running the whole time. “Mommy, what’s that? Why is that there? What is that lady doing? Where is that car going?…” Half of the questions I didn’t even try to answer because I’m too busy saying, “Be careful, stay on the sidewalk, watch where you are going…”
When my firstborn was little I would talk to him occasionally as I pushed the stroller because he couldn’t see me. That way he would know I was still there. With the third child I don’t say anything to her; but I’m constantly talking - to the second child.
So the youngest daughter just chills in the stroller and watches the show.
When people are walking towards us we pull over and stop moving. Otherwise they probably wouldn’t make it past the tricycle unscathed.

Wow our kids are a whole lot alike aren’t they. I am ALWAYS telling the middle child to watch where he is going and ride straight!!! No don’t go over there stay by the grass. Would you please stop asking me the same ? over and over again!! Why are you asking me that again didn’t I just answer that?!! hehe Wow they are CRAZY!!

Your kids sound so much like mine (6,4 & 2yr old girls)! Always talking about something. My eldest refuses to ride a bike without training wheels. She’d rather ride along side her friends than try to ride. My middle daughter is riding with the aide of training wheels, but doesn’t like uneven paths. She’s qutie the character.
It’s amazing how content the little ones are in their stroller!! Thank you to whomever invented them!!

My daughter just got her first tricycle last month, and she’s content to let us push her everywhere while her feet rest delicately on the pedals!
