So what exactly is in the crib mattress that wakes up the baby?

You know, you rock the baby until she snores but as soon as you lay her in the crib - b-r-i-n-g goes the alarm. There’s got to be some kind of alarm in the crib mattress that the baby hears, but I don’t.

I also think that someone should invent a heated mattress pad for under the sheet so the bed is slightly warm against the baby’s skin.

This too shall pass.

I made it through both the other children. They just lay down in their beds now and go to sleep…well, most of the time.

The 3 year old has been getting up for water in the middle of every night. Then, of course, she can’t tuck herself in. I know I’m a push over, but it’s quicker and less painless to just get up, walk her to her bed, and tuck her in then to make her go by herself.

Besides, it requires no talking and I’m pretty used to walking in my sleep.
