God’s Symphony
God plays His symphony Upon the heartstrings — yours and mine; With gentle, knowing touch He weaves His harmony divine; And if, sometimes, harsh discord Makes that harmony unfair, If war and strife and bitterness Confuse the peaceful air, ‘Tis not God’s lack of artistry Nor symphony grown dim, But, rather, that our hearts have fallen Our of tune with Him.~ Helen Lowrie Marshall
