Library Book Sale

The highlight of this past weekend was the Library Book Sale.  On the last day they have “anything you can put in the bag” for $1.00.  Woo-hoo!  My wonderful husband watched the kids so that I could go all by myself.  I limited myself to 2 very full bags; one was all kids books.  There was Thomas, Berenstain, Amelia Bedelia, Franklin, Boynton, Richard Scarry, and more!  So exciting!  [You can tell my kids ages just from that list ;)

I was able to find a couple classics, some christian fiction, a great sewing book, and some humor books for me.  I can always use some more humor in my life.  I even got some just to list on Paperback Swap to get more credits for me.

If you have a local library keep an eye out for book sales; it’s a great, frugal way to build up your home library.

I would love a sale like that! If I’m not in the middle of a book, it’s only because I ran out of books to read! I love to find $.25 books at yard sales and in thrift stores. Thankfully, both my girls love to read too. If only I could get my son….

Oh yeah! The $1 a bag day librarians must have hated my mom and I. I seriously don’t know how I fit so many books in one plastic bag. That was so much fun!
