My To Do List is Neverending & Not As Interesting As the Story

This morning we all woke up at once. It was like God switched a big switch that said “Wake up at Jendi’s house.” It was kind of weird actually. I’m not sure if I prefer to have everyone wake up in stages or all at once.

It was also one of those mornings when my mind immediately engaged. It, unfortunately, started running through the 1001, now 2, now 3…things that need to be done.

I’m guessing that the bare tree in the living room will jump to the top of the list. The kids want “to put toys on the tree.” I said, “I have to get the ornaments out.” They reply, “What are ornaments? Don’t you have toys for the tree?”

I’ll be back later with a Show & Tell if at all possible.
