This morning just as I stepped in to the shower the water stopped. No water. We looked out the window to see the Utilities truck driving away. When we contacted the water department we found out that our neighbor was replacing a valve and our water would be off for about an hour. So nice of them to warn us about it. . .
Thank the Lord that I didn’t have my hair soaped up.
So I putzed [can I use that word?] around and didn’t do the laundry or the dishes for an hour and a half.
Had a semi-busy day doing after Christmas things like returns, laundry, and eating ice cream at a DQ. Except for the 1 year old who got french fries because she doesn’t care for ice cream. The 5 year old surprisingly managed to down an ice cream cone all by himself after we had to make him finish his lunch.
This evening my husband took some things down to the basement and found a leak in our water pipe. Apparently the T that was put in to run water to my washer is leaking. . . He is on the phone now. . .
I’m off to do some water related house work now.
