While reading my Bible the other day this verse caught my attention.
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. II Corinthians 4:18
Now, bear with me. I know this is nothing new and it gets mentioned fairly often. I needed the reminder.
Temporal = Things which are seen = a clean house, a fancy table, stylish clothes, latest gadgets, beautiful decorations, etc.
Eternal = Things which are not seen = time with my kids, love, a good attitude, gratefulness, good character, etc.
How easy it is to worry about the temporal more than the eternal.

Hi Jendi,
Amen! How very true about how much easier it is to worry about the temporal. Thanks for the reminder–I needed it too!
Blessings and Happy New Year,
