Looking For a Job

Thanks for visiting! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed using the feedburner link to the right.

I’ve kind of kept this under my hat, but it has changed my thinking on a lot of things and I want to share it now.

My husband and I prayed about it and I quit my job that I did from home. It means quite a chunk of money less each week.

Why did I quit? Well…there was some strict deadlines that I was having trouble meeting while taking care of my children. I was literally working two jobs at one time. Motherhood and my phone job. The phone job was suffering and hurting my testimony while my mothering was just suffering.

Now I’m looking for other ways to make money even more than I was before. Today I talked to a boutique owner that takes consignment items. My mind is spinning…

How I wish that the Lord would just send me a letter telling me exactly what to do!

I will pray that the Lord directs you down just the right path! It is always a scary and exciting situation that you are in…on the brink of a new journey. But God is ALWAYS faithful and good! Can’t wait to hear what He does this time!

I wish the same thing, lol. It hasn’t happened yet, though! I guess if He did that, we wouldn’t have to learn to listen and trust. But, perhaps this boutique owner is the answer to your prayers… :) Looking forward to hearing how things turn out!

A letter? I wish for the more direct bullhorn to the mouth, “Cyndi do this!” I too am thinking, praying, looking for something to do to bring more income into the home. We are cutting everywhere we can and it seems that it just isn’t enough. I do have a great idea for an e-book, an one for a regular non-fiction book, I really need to amend the schedule to make writing a priority. May the Lord direct your footsteps!
