It’s Friday once again. Where has the week gone? Wait…I don’t really want to know.

This is one of my Christmas presents.
My husband got a good deal with a rebate on this CD/radio/auxilary player.
The big CD/tape/radio player that was under it went to my son’s room and I have more counter space. Counter space is a great thing to have more of. Never mind the fact that it’s full at the moment.
The radio kind of hisses and frustrates me, but I don’t actually listen to the radio a lot. I found myself constantly running to turn it down so the kids wouldn’t hear something. That quickly discourages the whole radio thing.
The best thing is that I can hook my iPod Nano to it and create endless possibilities of listening happiness. See, it’s like this…The majority of my clothes don’t have pockets that work with an iPod. Plus, the headphones get knocked off my ears a lot. I’ve no clue why that is; I only have one toddler that hangs on my hip, one 3 yo that wraps herself around me, and one 5 yo that constantly has questions.
A small tip for iPod owners. If you want to buy connector cords/headphones/accessories for your iPod, don’t automatically buy the iPod/apple brand. My husband bought the plain black cord [that works fine] for $6.00. The iPod brand cord costs $15.00 to do the same thing!

That is cool. I’m looking for a speaker set for my Sansa e250. My grandson came home with a pocket sized set that folds up and has its own little pouch to live in. It is not a good quality sound, tho. It is kind of a stop gap until I find what I want. Thanks for sharing this.

Hi–I have one similar to that ; I have been using for a year and it is great since I spend so much time in the kitchen. My radio works fine and I like listening to the Christian Radio station and NPR news–and questions about plant growing etc. Plus my CDs–makes working in the kitchen a happier place
