Toy Farm AnimalsMy 21 month old daughter loves animals. She loves seeing them, reading about them, watching DVD’s of them, playing with plastic ones, etc.

For Christmas we bought her the Little People Farm; and asked relatives for some additional animal sets.

Those animals are played with every day. The problem is that they can’t seem to stay in the barnyard. Those wandering animals have been in the girl’s purses [not mine, yet]; the strollers, my son’s toy firehouse, the bathroom, the table, and even my bed.

Who gets asked to round them up? You guessed it - me. The 21 month old wanders along with me “looking”, but doesn’t usually spot the animals without me pointing them out first. Maybe if she had a sheep dog…

We have tons of Little People and Fisher Price people play sets. Some are mine from my childhood and some are new, but they are the most played with toys in the house. I too spend my days rounding up the “people” (which includes animals, chairs etc.). I too have found them in every place you mentioned. Have you found them in your shoes yet? Good times!

Our 3 yr old got a Noah’s Ark for Christmas and I am constantly finding animals all over the house - under the couch, hidden in cushions, in the bathtub, you name it…I’ve found it. I totally identify!
