Seven Days/One Week till Valentine’s Day.
This year I’ve actually thought about Valentine’s Day earlier than the day before. Good, huh?
I know that there are some of you out there that really get in to V Day, but I’ve been woefully lacking in that area in the past few years.
I have plans for this year. Woo-hoo!
What are they? Well, some I’ll tell you and some I won’t. I don’t put it past my Mr. Wonderful to read my blog even if he won’t admit it.
So, do you think Valentine’s Day should be mainly for couples? Do you give your children gifts?

We give the kids small inexpensive boxes of chocolates. The ones that have like four or five pieces in them for around $1. They are satisfied. My husband usually brings me flowers. (Not a big deal… he picks them up where he works.) That is about how far our celebrations go. We aren’t big valentines people. I remember it was bigger for us when we where dating and newly wed. Now we are just an old married couple. Maybe we could do with a bit of oomph in our love life.

I don’t do a whole lot for the kids - We always get the candy hearts around Valentines day and they don’t much care about anything else. My Gram always sends them cards with a dollar or two in it. I LOVE Valentines day but hubby doesn’t usually do much. We have been married over 6 years and I have probably gotten flowers once!! I always try to do something for him. Don’t have any money this month so I think I will make him a card with the Candy Hearts!! It is fun and I think a good way to say I love you - better than a store bought card!
