The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. [Psalm 121:7-8]
What a wonderful security that is!
Sometimes there is a verse that I’ve read or heard hundreds of times, but all of a sudden it seems new again. Maybe it’s just what I need at that particular season of my life. It’s a reminder, refresher, renewer. God knows and He is good.
And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. [2 Tim 4:18]
These verses are promises for me to cling to. They might not be as meaningful to your life at this time, but maybe you can think of a promise that is. Feel free to share it in the comments.

Great reminders, Jendi!
I don’t know that this is a specific promise, per se, but I was reading in Acts 9 this morning, and was impressed with the idea that God has a chosen path for each of us to follow, each and every day. In verses 15 and 16, He lays out the plan he has for Saul’s life, and in the preceeding verses, Jesus told Ananias what He wanted Ananias to do that day (go to Saul). Whether it is stepping into a scary situation (in Ananias’ case) or a life of persecution for Christ’s sake (Saul’s plan) or wiping noses, floors, and little bottoms LOL! in my case, I can rest assured that He knows my path and as long as I continue doing what He wants me to do, I am pleasing Him and fulfilling all of His will for me each day!
