My 20 month old is a loyal follower of my 5 year old. He is a willing [though sometimes scary] instigator leader.
He has this sing-song tone of voice that he uses to ask questions like, “Who wants to color?”
The 20 month old invariably says, “Me!“ Although it comes out sounding like may-ee-uh all jammed together.
So it goes. “Who wants to play cowboy?” “Me-uh!“
The 3 year old is not as easy to convince, but the 20 month old will agree 95% of the time.
“Who wants to have candy?” “Me-uh!“
It does get frustrating when I have not given the ok and the 5 year old is already prepping the 20 month old.
“Who wants to go outside?” “Me-uh!“
I expect that she will grow out of it. If only I could get him to use it for good…
“Who wants to eat their beans?”

That’s funny…to me at least. lol My 3.5 year old doesn’t ask her 23 month old brother if he wants to do stuff. She just drags him along with her. lol

Hahaha!! Wow that sounds familiar but both my 5 yr old and 3 yr old are followed by the 18mo old!! He will do anything they say. And they will ask if they can have Candy and I say no but now the 18mo old cries Cany cany!!!! And he doesn’t stop unless I can get his mind on something else!! AAHHHHH Now if I can just get the other 2 to stop saying that word! I think more that follow though my baby likes to do what they do when they finish. He loves to play with what they had AFTER they put it away!!
