Big People hear your very words,
Your literal replies,
But Little People read your face
And then are very wise.
They who can read no printed page,
Or tell two words apart,
Perceive with wisdom of a sage
The true unspoken heart.

I love this poem. It reminds me how impressionable children are and how much we need to live out our Christian life in front of them. My dear daughters are 17 and 20 now. Still they watch how I live even if they no longer seem to being listening.
