Come On Down!

Thanks for visiting! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed using the feedburner link to the right.

yard sale signMy MIL and I are gearing up for a rather large yard sale on Saturday.  It will be the last one at this house.

Feel free to come visit! :)  Bring your change.

If you can’t come would you consider praying that lots and lots of things sell?  I’d love, love, LOVE to be able to buy my husband a new camera lens.  It could be an anniversary present and he could use it on our trip to AZ.

Did you catch that comment about the trip?  Not only are we in the middle of moving and selling our house…We are going on a trip for our 10th anniversary.  My first plane trip is coming up! Rather quickly too. Pardon me while I stress out…

I found the following quote that fits quite well for this specific occasion:

When one is young and has little money, it is prudent to spend that little on the unnecessary, the emotional dividends being higher.   Clifton Fadiman, New York editor and writer

I also wanted to let you know that we have a PayPal account.  Just in case anyone is interested.

Oh what I would do for a garage sale. In Croatia they don’t do that, yard sales are unheard of. What a strange country!! Wish I were there to browse!
Have fun and I hope that camera lens is his soon!

Best wishes on your sale. I don’t think it would be prudent management of funds to drive all the way to Penn. for a garage sale though, so I’ll choose the prayer option.

Yay - a trip! Our tenth anniversary trip was a little (9 months) late, and not Europe, but when it’s the Bahamas who can complain? It was wonderful, and the kids did fine.
