It’s amazing how many bottles and things accumulate in my shower.
When we first came to our apartment [that's what we're calling it] there were three empty ledges in the shower. It looked like there was lots of room.
My husband only needs a bar of soap and his one bottle of shampoo with conditioner.
I don’t use shampoo mixed with conditioner because my hairdresser says that it’s not good for my hair. She says the mixed cleaners tend to start conditioning before the hair is clean.
So three days later I checked the ledges and there was my shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, scrubber thingie, razor, and shower cap. That’s six things for me and two for my husband!
And there’s a stack of kids toys taking up one ledge. I didn’t even mention the kids soap/shampoo because it’s on the counter.
What happened to all that room?!
Are we average or really weird? Do you have a lot of things actually in your shower area?

well, let’s see. Joseph has his Pert Plus. I have my body wash and facial scrub and shampoo. This is all on our ONE ledge in our shower. (of course, we only have a stall shower because the bathtub is seperate.) If I use anything else, I just set it right outside the shower door on the ledge around the tub. Oh! I almost forgot. I have a plastic suction hook from the dollar store hanging on the glass wall for my shower poof. Yeah, I definitely rule the shower with stuff. Guys are such minimalists sometimes!

Okay… current razors, a couple older razors? :^(, shaving creme, foot brush/pumice, Brian and Ethan’s shampoo, My shampoo and conditioner, and foot scrub, the girl’s sensitive bodywash, and 2in1 tear free shampoo/conditioner, gobs of toys, three? rinse cups, 4 shower poofs, a scrubber used just for cleaning the bathtub/shower, and a bottle of my bubble bath. The kids bubble bath and lotion is in a cabinet. I hope we’re normal.

I’m probably not the best judge for this because my dad doesn’t like having stuff sitting in the shower (let’s not get into the fact that his bottle of shampoo and soap are in the shower:o)). I keep my stuff in the cabinet under the sink and I can think of at least 6 items that I use:o). Am I normal??? I think so:o).

We have DH’s shampoo and soap, my shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razor, and poof, the older kids shampoo/conditioner, and soap, and the baby’s shampoo/soap. Along with those things we have oodles of toys for the kids as well as some cups and an empty bubble bath container. My shower sounds like it looks like your shower. I consider myself pretty normal, so you must be too.

No I think you are normal!! Same here DH has just soap and one bottle of shampoo. I have my shampoo and conditioner, liquid soap, razor, and sponge thingie! Yeah then there is all the kids toys! At our trailer (before we moved) they had a little boat thing with shapes in it that was always in the way at the back of the shower and a frog back hanging full of cups and toys!! Now those are all in Mimi’s bathtub since all I have is a shower!

Okay, we have a shower caddy that hangs from the shower head. It holds my two razors (one disposable, one not) and my husband’s razor, a bar of soap, conditioner and shampoo, a scrub brush and “sponge thingie” All the kid’s supplies have a different storage place and toys are not kept in the bathroom except for one rubber duckie that sits on the lip of the bath. Since the scrub brush and “sponge thingie” hang, we really aren’t that crowded.

Oh, good heavens, we’ve got tons of stuff! In our shower alone, there’s five bottles of shampoo and various conditioners, two shower jells, one LUSH soap, three razors, three shaving jell/cremes, two facial cleansers, one foot file, and two mesh puffs. Frankly, there may be more that I’m not remembering. And there’s more in the kids’ bathroom! I’m a product junkie, I admit it.
