Get some good gloves (and body armor) and start pulling!

Yes, it’s poison ivy. And the “leaves of three, let it be rule” is a good one to follow. Evidently Virginia creeper can be mistaken for poison ivy, but better safe than sorry!

Cover every part of you if you have to deal with it, don’t stand in the smoke while burning it, be careful of your dog rubbing you if it ran through it, and wash the clothes that had contact with it.

Every part of the plant is poisonous!

Hate poison ivy! I got it on my forehead once. We were pulling weeds & I didn’t notice it. I had gloves on, so my hands were fine, but I brushed the hair out of my face & had a red, itchy forehead for a while.
