It’s time for my first airplane trip. We leave/left the house at 8:00 AM EST.
I’m so excited, and so nervous.
All day my mind was swinging back and forth. “I can’t wait to go. How can I leave the kids? I’ll be glad to have a break. I’m going to miss them so much. I’m excited. I’m scared. I’m happy. I’m nervous. I’m all packed. I’ve got a headache.”
I’d count it a great blessing if you would pray that we have safe and uneventful traveling in the air and by car. We will drive 2 hours to get to our condo after we are on 3 different planes.
And pray that our kids will be good and the babysitters won’t hate us by the time we return.
“I’m leaving on a jet plane…” Your welcome for the song stuck in your head.

Well, I hope ya’ll have a great time!!! Where are you going or did you go?? Did I miss that detail somewhere or did you not share yet?? Anyway, have a good vacation!!!
I hope you like(d) flying! I love it.
I’ll be praying that your travel is uneventful. My worst travel experience was being stuck in the airport overnight with a 2 year old and 2 month old. Oy! Praise the Lord we had the stroller and the baby was sleeping 8 hours by that age. With a little rearranging of the airport seats we made ourselves a nice, comfy place to sleep. Okay, so maybe it wasn’t that nice or that comfy but at least the kids slept. lol
Thanks a lot for the song :p
Have fun!!! I’m sure you’ll be glad you got away.
Yay! Can’t wait for the pics. Leaving and the time before are always the hardest for me, once I’m there, I pretty much don’t worry about the kids at all (don’t tell them!). Have a great time!!!!
P.S. I’ve had far worse songs stuck in my head, the Oscar Meyer Weiner song, for instance. I actually like Jet Plane.
