Our anniversary trip was great. I’m not calling it a vacation because we didn’t really rest. I know you’re probably thinking, “Well who’s fault was that?!”
On Monday we were in Tombstone, Tuesday - Tucson, Wednesday - Sedona & Jerome, Thursday - Grand Canyon, Friday - Clarkdale and Verde Valley.
Good thing my husband didn’t get a mile limit on the rental car.
We saw a lot of things, met up with some friends, made some new ones, and missed the kiddos like crazy.
Now I have a mountain of clothes to put away, but they are already washed! Wasn’t that nice of the babysitters?! I have to admit that I kind of expected the clothes to come back clean from the grandmothers’ houses, but my friend who has a 3 yo, 2 yo, and 7 mon. old did the laundry too. Wow!

Sounds like a great trip, but the packing, planning, and putting away definitely seems to last about four times longer than the trip itself!

I’m glad you had a fun time. It’s good to have you back. Now you need to take a week off to recover from your trip.
