I didn’t have to check this lady out when she called and asked to meet. I’ve known her since elementary school. She was, in fact, my husband’s girlfriend in Kindergarten; but I don’t hold that against her.
She came back to her native Yankee land for a visit.
Here we are in 1989. Sadly I couldn’t find one of us together. I think we usually took pictures of each other.
We didn’t dress alike in weird clothes. That was our school uniform.
Don’t you want some wallpaper like that? It was pretty in its day, but its day is over.
I think she definitely looked better in 1989 than I do. Although I have a sneaking suspicion that she smiled with her lips closed because she had braces. I got mine later.
Check out my huge glasses! My husband forbids me to buy big glasses any more.
Here we are in 2008, twenty years and 3 kids [each] later.
You can tell we both had braces.
We had a great visit while our kids ran around a local park.

It was so fun to get to see you and catch up. I know I have better pictures of you, and yes I was hiding braces. Maybe we can meet up again next May, unless you want to visit the sunny South sooner than that. I recommend October.
