Marriage, Already?!

My 5 year old son asked me, “Mommy, do we marry sisters?”
I hesitantly replied, “No, we do not.” All the while wondering what brought that up.
Then he turned to his three year old sister and said, “Sorry, A– you’ll have to find somebody else. I don’t marry sisters.”

Thats funny because when I had me extra 2 charges for the week the kept wrapping blankets around their necks and ask who wanted to get married!! My dilema was the girls wanted to get married. I told them they could not it was a boy and girl that could get married - problem was we only had one boy and 2 girls!! They had fun - I think it came up because just a week or so before we had been to a friends wedding so they thought that was cool!!

Sometimes kids ask question which make us laugh for many days. Almost a month ago my son asked me, “Papa- Will you marry me”. I laughed many hours.

I think that is the cutest. I love when little ones ask questions and try to understand the answers. My son is almost 4 and he tells me he’s going to marry his toys. It just makes me giggle.
