I’ll tell you a semi-secret. I liked the movies National Treasure and The Librarian. My man watched them with me even though he rolled his eyes.
House of Wolves by Matt Bronleewe is that same type of story. It’s about August Adams getting pulled (literally) into protecting a rare manuscript and dealing with an international cult that will kill to get that manuscript.
The story starts in New York, but ends up in the Antarctic. How many books have you read that are set in the Antarctic?
August Adams is the brave, strong hero that you know will survive; but will his son, girl, and father be okay?
Of particular interest to me was that Matt Bronleewe started with some historical tidbits and wound them into a thrilling adventure.
Twists on the main plot continue right up to the last page. So settle in and keep reading!
P.S. This is actually the second book about August Adams. The first one is called Illuminated.

I love National Treasure — The 2nd one is really good too! I rolled my eyes with the Librarian when hubby watched it - not as good in my opinion!!
