My almost 4 yo daughter eats about as much as me, most of the time. It’s amazing how she can be a little skinny minnie and shovel so much food in.
She’ll eat her food and then ask if she can finish the 2 yo’s food. Meanwhile the 2 yo, who is just a slower eater because she hasn’t had as long to master the utensils, will either say ok or shout, “No! Don’t eat my food.”
I just got a chuckle out of it at lunch.
The almost 4 yo had finished hers and was eyeing everybody else’s food to see what they didn’t want.
The 2 yo was eating and guarding her food.
The 5 yo was asking for candy.
Typical.

I have a friend who has 5 foster children and then a 5 month old of her own. The 4 year old twin boys eat twice as much as I can! It is amazing to me. I normally eat smaller meals 5 times a day cuz I fill up quickly, but man can those boys eat!
