It’s been raining slow and steady all morning.
It makes me want to sleep.
Therefore my brain refuses to work.
Now is when I should reach into the resources of post ideas already started in my notebook and whip out a wonderful post.
Not happening. Sorry. I’d say “So sue me,” but it’s just not very nice, and I don’t have any money to give you anyway.
I think I shall dedicate today to cleaning out my Bloglines and doing things that require no thinking, like scrubbing the shower.
My life is obviously full of excitement.
I did have a bit of excitement when I read How To Maintain a Healthy Level of Insanity at Mrs. Nespy’s. I laughed thinking about doing those things, but don’t know how many I could actually work up the courage to do.
In honor of her deals, tips, and humor I’d like to give her the You Make My Day Award.
Lastly I leave you with a song I think of every time I pick up an umbrella. I love this song. It makes me smile. Don’t know why.
My man knows what I’m thinking of when I smile under an umbrella. A couple times he even sang it to me -with an umbrella -while it was raining. Talk about weak in the knees!
Do you feel sad for Peter Lawford in Easter Parade? I usually feel sad for the nice guys that try so hard, but don’t end up with the heroine.

Visiting from BPOTW. I too have moments when my brain refuses to work and most of the time it’s when I want to blog. Ugh.
Loved the clip and Yes! I do get disappointed when a good fella doesn’t get the girl.
I’ve enjoyed reading your blog, thanks for sharing.

For my birthday last year my family got me tickets to see Easter Parade at a dinner theatre. Evedna went with me. In the version they did, the guy that tried so hard did get the main character and the other guy ended back up with his old partner. It was actually kind of nice to see it that way.
