Podcasts I Enjoy

Did you know that anyone with a computer and internet access can download iTunes?

You don’t have to have an iPod to listen to the podcasts.  You can listen through the computer.  A PC or a Mac will work.

Here are some of the podcasts I like to listen to:

1. APM: Performance Today – Piano Puzzler: A classical music quiz podcast.
2. Behind the Blog | BlogTalkRadio Feed:  This show is on hiatus right now, but there are 9 episodes you can listen to.
3. FlyLady | BlogTalkRadio Feed: If you don’t know who she is check out Flylady.net.
4. MissusSmartyPants | BlogTalkRadio Feed: The Know-it-all of style!  I listen with a grain of salt.
5. The Comedic Genius of Martin and Lewis
6. Grammar Girl’s Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing
7. Legacy of Laughs (Old Time Radio) – I love Burns & Allen and Red Skelton.
8. NPR: Sunday Puzzle Podcast: weekly word game
9. Old Time Radio Comedy
10. Pilates on Fifth Video Podcast – This one I don’t do as much as I should.

My 5 yo son enjoys: [I know - he's only 5!  It keeps him quiet during nap time so I can blog.]

1. The Lone Ranger Podcast
2. The Cisco kid from Frontier Western Theater
3. Found a few Roy Rogers and Hopalong Cassidy
4. Storynory – Stories for Kids

My husband likes the comedies, spooky shows, and westerns including:

1. I Was a Communist for the FBI
2. Gunsmoke
3. The Shadow

You can find any of the above by typing the title into the iTunes search bar at the top right of their page.

If you want to brush up on or learn a foreign language just take your pick from the Education category.

I get stuck in a rut occasionally – shocking, I know – and would like to know if you have any podcasts to recommend.  If it’s not through iTunes I’ll just download it and import it.
