Ode to No Bakes

No Bake Cookies how I love thee!
Let me sit and count the ways.
You satisfy my chocolate cravings.
I shall eat you all my days.

Though you’re here and gone so quickly
You bring such joy to my face.
And one thing I’d rather not voice -
The way you add to my hips space.

Your dark mix of milk and cocoa
Bubbling oh so prettily.
Add to that the oats and PB
You are quite a joy to see.

It matters not if you stay gooey.
I’ll just eat you with a spoon.
Just wait quiet for a minute
Till my kids have left the room.

Yes, I’m a chocoholic and a nut. :)
Made these last night at 10:00pm after the munchkins were in bed. I wanted to lick the pan myself!
They will be gone by tomorrow night. But fondly remembered.

These are my kids favorite type of cookies! They never last long at all.

What in the world are no bake cookies? Btw the chicken was very tender! Wahoo!

They’re a cookie you can make without using your (broken) oven! Glad to hear the chicken was good.

    Thanks!

Those are soooo addictive. Remember when I used to trade my lunch snacks for your no-bake cookies…and how we used to mix our kool-aid flavors?

I do! I do remember. Good times those.

Reading this poem last night after getting off of work made me really hungry for them :) Just settled with a few mini bars of special dark chocolate, yum. I think I might check out making the no bake peanut butter bars that Giant sells. Have a good thanksgiving to you and your family :)
