We let our cat go outside and come back in.
I can just see our friend that loves cats, rescues cats, and helps many cat owners cringing right about now.
Our cat NEEDS to go outside. Her temperament gets downright nasty when she is inside all the time. That leads to mischief and playfully attacking our children. She thinks it’s playfully. The kids get scared.
Let her out (or throw her out) and she comes back much more loving and sleepy.
She lets us know when she wants in by knocking on the window.
When she first started it gave me a slight fright. ”Who’s at the window?!” I’m used to it now.
Remember that Mother-in-laws huge cat?
Sadly he has some health problems and there is a good possibility that we will have to say our final good-byes.
Here’s a video from when he was still doing ok. Please just ignore my stupidity and look at the cat. What was I thinking!?

LOL! One of my cats (a very large, somewhat fat, male) knocks on our sliding door just like your kitty. Sometimes I let him knock a little extra so he gets more exercise.
Is that mean?

LOL. I don’t think it’s mean. It’s for his greater good.
