Working Myself Out of a Job

Laundry is done once a week at my house.  I’ve done it that way for 10+ years now.

I don’t love doing laundry, but I don’t hate it.  It just needs done, and I like to do it in one big swoop.  I am very, very grateful for my washing machine and dryer.

Since adding 3 children there is, of course, a lot more laundry.  I can’t get as much in one load anymore.  How do I stop those children from growing?

I like to do my husband’s laundry for him, but I’d like to get out of doing my kid’s laundry.

So, this is my plan…

P.S.  I’ve found that fun music and a timer increase the fun for me and the munchkins!

  1. ok, so this is like the best idea I have ever heard!! I think I might have to work on this one myself! Wow it would make things way easier and maybe less overwhelming on laundry day! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I can’t stand doing laundry… not because of the actual chore. But because it is never ending. I do it once a week now too… ug!
