One Job I Would Not Want

Anne Hawthorne is a wedding planner and the heroine of the book Stand-In Groom by Kaye Dacus.
She does a wonderful job of planning, coordinating, budgeting, calming, – everything a wedding planner should be.

Then she’s interested in a guy who is the groom for her next big wedding.  Except he’s not really the groom.  He’s just pretending to be the groom to protect the famous groom from the media.

Now that’s a sticky-wicket isn’t it?

It’s a fun book.  I knew what was going to happen, but I didn’t know how.  She did throw me a couple curve balls in the story line and I enjoyed every one.

Stand-In Groom has the all-knowing view.  The reader knows what is going on in both lives.  If it were a movie I would have been talking to the characters.

I enjoyed the way the characters went to God with their troubles and stuck by their convictions even when things were tough.

I’m ready to read Kaye Dacus’ next book!
