I love doing book reviews and getting free books! I love going to the library book sale! I love finding books at yard sales! That means that every now and then I have to go through and clean out our books. My cleaning out question is, “Would I rather have this book or money?”
The easiest way to get money for books is from Cash4books.net. The site is fast and easy to use, they will pay me through PayPal, and they even pay the shipping! The down side is that they only accept the newer fiction titles or non-fiction books. If you want to sign up please click the graphic so I can get credit.
My second selling option has been Ebay. That works better if I can sell a box of similar books. For example – I will sell a dozen of the Love Inspired Titles or a bunch of the 4-in-1 books. Make sure you charge enough for shipping, and enough to cover your time spent listing, packaging, and mailing.
A third option that I just signed up for is selling on Amazon. Boy-oh-boy, they take a chunk of change out of the profit! I just listed 2 books this week. I looked at what my net would be and if there was not much more than Cash4Books would give me I sent the book to Cash4Books. I’m waiting to see what happens.
If I can’t get money for the book I list it on my Paperback Swap Bookshelf. I can at least get another book out of the deal. Love that site too! If you want to sign up for PB Swap please click the graphic [more credits for me
]. I like to get books for my kids from PB Swap.
Last of all I will drop unwanted books off at my library. It’s a worthy cause too.
This is what Works For Me. How about you? Ever used any of those sites? Any tips for me?

I have never sold any of my books. I tend to just keep them and loan them out to friends occasionally. However, I did purchase most of them from either Amazon or Half.com.
Half.com is actually an Ebay company, but it only lists used books, games, music and videos that are being sold by individuals. You may want to check that out too.
Again, I haven’t sold anything through Half, so I don’t know if it would be beneficial or not.

I have a friend that buys through Half.com, but I haven’t really tried it. The books that I buy I usually keep. Except for when I get a whole bag full for $1.
I found you on Nester’s website. I am excited about finding the links you posted to sell my books. I had a book sale at my house but still have so many books. We are also selling our home and will be downsizing so I have to get rid of much. I will click through so you will get credit.

Thank you! I hope you can convert a bunch of your books to cash.
I’ve had really good luck in selling books and stuff on Amazon. I think they’ve upped their fees since I sold anything through them, but eBay keeps kicking theirs up too!

Another option is to look up the book on BookScouter.com. It checks prices from Cash4Books in addition to 30-something other vendors to see who is buying the book, and gives you prices from each site.
Great info. I will definitely check out your site.
I love reading. Thanks for sharing with us the links.I shall help you by clicking on the links!Hope I can benefit from the website too!
