Lori at A Cowboy’s Wife is holding a photography contest with the theme of color. I didn’t have the time or energy to set up the shot that I wanted so I’m using this shot. It’s my mother-in-law’s Easter Sunday treats for her Bible School class. I quickly snapped these late Saturday night.
A Basketful of Easter Joy

She said that it was tricky to get the chow mein noodles into the basket shapes. The kids didn’t care what shape they were in. See those speckled candies? Those aren’t jelly beans. The jelly beans are solid colors. The speckled “eggs” are large M&M’s. Those are good eggs!
You can find out how to make them at the Land O’Lakes website.

I’m afraid if I took the time to make those cute little baskets, I wouldn’t want to eat them. What a great idea though!

I was swiping M& M’s.
Those look sooooooo yummy!
What a great idea! Don’t you love how the best recipes always seem to come from the old standby brands?
