Today we are having a ladies tea. My 4 year old daughter has proclaimed that it’s going to be “the bestest tea ever.” She has also repeatedly told her brother that he is not allowed to go.

Both my girls are so eager to “help.” With fear and trepidation I let my 4 year old carry the tea cups and saucers. My 2 year old carried the plate of small PB & J sandwiches. I breathed a huge sigh of relief when nothing crashed to the floor.

It must be the day for mother/daughter teas. Leah and I went to one at a church 25 minutes from here. I had to speak, so I had way to many butterflies to enjoy much of the fellowship. Sadly, I’m glad it’s over! No more speaking engagements for a while. Whew!
