I LOVE LOVE it when they do that. Before our son could even really speak, he would mimic the inflection in our voices through certain books as he pointed at the pictures and grunted in the same tone we had spoken. Too cute! It’s funny when they get to that “copycat” age, isn’t it? Sometimes it can be upsetting (like when I’m frustrated at something not working right and accidentally use the word “stupid” perhaps? lol), but more often than not, it’s sweet and brings a smile. I’m glad it did that for you, as well. )

I love to watch my kids doing things like that when they don't know I'm watching. It's just so precious. We certainly have to grab and hold on to those memories because the kids won't be little for very long.
