How can I say,
“Thou knowest best,”
When I am grieving
In the test?
How can I say,
“Thy way is right,”
When I am drained,
Too weak to fight?
O Lord, if I
Should challenged be,
Give me the faith
That trusts in Thee.
Let me go forth
From where I stand,
And leave the matter
In Thy hand.
