I am cracking UP over this. There are so many things I've found myself doing as a mom that I never considered doing before marriage & motherhood - and like you, they mirror my own mother's actions. It's pretty funny to think about. Maybe it's part of the whole genetic makeup - something kicks in when you become a mom and all of that imprinting comes back!

I don't remember my mom teaching me how to clean the bathroom, but I do remember us gettting in an argument over when to dust the bed. She thought I should do it while the sheets were off, I wanted to wait till they were back on. Now that I think about it she was right, but my 13 year old mind didn't think so. I have scrubbed the toilets without a brush, I was trying to get rid of a ring inside the bow, but I did wear gloves. I really should be cleaning the toothpaste out of sinks right now!

That was good.... As a mom now I find myself always remembering that my mom told me to do that or said that to me. Sometimes I even get upset with myself because I say something and remember that I HATED when my parents said that to me! LOL
As for bathroom cleaning.... I use a rag(although I have always used my hand in the sink for toothpaste spots and I have never had my own bathroom!) no gloves they just get in my way. But I do agree if there is not toilet brush there will be no clean toilet!!
