It is definitely easier to rest during sickness when you don’t have a child in diapers. There’s still a lot of ups and downs, ins and outs, but it’s a bit easier. Don’t you think so?
The problem is that now they want to hug me, lay with me, kiss me, and bring me tissues. While I appreciate their love I really wish they wouldn’t kiss me. I’d rather not be blowing their nose all next week.
