How do those mothers with an abundance of children do it? My hat is off to all of you. Now granted, you might not have a 7 year old, two 5 year olds, two 3 year olds, and a 2 year old as I’ve had for 2 days, but still… I’m sure some of you have been awfully close to that.
Some of those mothers even write blogs! Let me tell you that my creative juices were totally drained by nap time. I can handle 3 kids and still feel like I have half a brain, but 6 made me feel like my brain was mush.
I know that my children are used to a certain schedule and I have things worked out with them that the 3 I’m babysitting do not know. I also noticed that I don’t have to entertain my children as much since there are other kids to play with. Suddenly that toy that they never played with is their very favorite and impossible to share.
The good thing is that the weather has been nice and they have really been playing outside a lot. Thank you Lord! I’m so glad that she had the baby this week instead of last week because last week it rained all week. The kids would have been tied to chairs for sure by the time my husband got home. [In my defense, I have never tied a kid to a chair...yet.]

I feel for you. I couldn’t handle 3 kids let alone 6. I don’t know how you did it. My sister has 3 and when they come over I about go crazy. I only have one and almost 2 (7 more days) I’m not sure how I’m going to make it because at times I feel I don’t have patience for one.

It takes a lot of patience to be able to do that. You have to endure kids wittiness and willing to keep up with them. Women are born to do multi task work, so most of them can really do it.
