When this goes live I should be in New York City. For the first time in my life. Slightly pathetic isn’t it – since I only live about 4 hours away. I have been to see Lady Liberty, but never went into the big city.
Why am I going? Euro Pro is launching the Ninja Kitchen Appliance and has invited me to have a look at it. So this is my first sponsored trip. I and 39 other bloggers will be watching Robin Miller demonstrate it and then we get to eat.
When I first received an email from a PR firm I was really skeptical. I checked out their website, and asked for more info. It looked like it wasn’t going to work out for me to go so I thanked them and went on my way. A couple weeks later I was contacted again, things worked out differently, and FedEx brought me the tickets.
I already mentioned that I found someone to travel with. I dragged her into it, but she’s so-o excited. It is more along her line of writing than mine. She’s helped me not feel so nervous about going to NYC because she’s been there and is familiar with the area.
I’m sure I’ll have much more to tell you next week when I’ve returned and got caught up on sleep because 1. I’m not planning on sleeping much there and 2. I’m pretty sure I’ll be offline for over 24 hours.
If you use Twitter or Tweetdeck you can follow some of what’s going on with the #NinjaLaunchNYC.
Have you ever been to NYC?

Hey Lady! I hope you are having a blast in NYC. It is quite a culture shock. I’ve been therelots of times….shopping, to broadway, to Times Square at Christmas. It’s a very neat place but I am always, always glad to be back home after I’ve been there.
How exciting! Have a fun time while you were there. We only lived about 8 hours from NYC for five years and we never went! I wish we had!
