My Thoughts:
- In the beginning it’s hinted that the heroine, Abby Mitchell, is smart, talented, and involved in big things. In the end it’s proven to us and the bad guys, who thought she was only a naive event planner.
- The spiritual content is very low with just a little thrown in towards the end.
- It’s obvious the author did tons of research. I really enjoyed learning some of the history of the gem. I’m usually not fond of jumping back and forth between times, but it was okay in this book. I was not confused and was able to understand what was going on.
- Overall – I enjoyed it and had to finish it in one day.
It’s for sure that I will look for a sequel about Dr. Abby Mitchell.
