Lord, bless the hearts of those who care
For others every day…
The ones who to the helpless souls
Are bright and shiny rays.
Bless the ones who minister
With ready, out-stretched hands
To every wearied traveler
Upon this pilgrim land.
Lord, bless the hands and feet of those
Who tend to all in need…
The shut-ins and the many folk
Who live upon the streets.
Oh, bless the Good Samaritan
Who sacrifices self,
Who always goes the extra mile
To help somebody else.

You can’t imagine how delighted I was when Eric gave me your sweet card!! Thanks so much for thinking of me, it made me feel so special.
Connecting with people through blogs is something I never would have imagined that I’m doing, but it has turned into so much fun! Funny thing…when Eric walked up to me at church tohand me the card, the volleyball coach of our Christian school had just approached me and said she met this lady at one of their away games who said to her, “Do you know Abbi? She and I have corresponded over our blogs!!” And then WHILE I was talking to her, I “connected” with another blogger through Eric…too funny! It really is a small world. Thanks for making it smaller by thinking of me! My kids keep reminding me of you by opening the card.
Thanks again, you are such a dear!
