It’s Sunny and I Feel Better

Take Your Medicine
What do you do at your house when you’re sick?  We found ourselves sitting around the table, looking towards the corner, and waiting for the flys to land on the fly strip.  Yea.  It was quite obvious my kids were sick when they just sat and waited for the fly to land.  I had to laugh out loud when they cheered, “2 flys – 3 – look – 4!”

Unfortunately, I know exactly what they[the kids not the flys] are going through because this is the first day in 6 that I feel close to normal.  Praise the Lord that there has not been upset stomachs.  A lot of fever, runny nose and eyes, plus general tiredness.

God bless the inventor of Play-doh!  What a great, calm, quiet, even somewhat educational toy that all 3 of my kids like to play with.

May God doubly bless my husband for helping me through the roughest of days! If your family is going through sickness I’ll loan you my Play-doh, but not my husband.

I’m off to wash bedding, towels, dishes…you know. Hope you have a great day!

  2. I loved Play-doh as a kid also. My siblings and I enjoyed making pizza with Play-doh. Toy pizza. It was fun. Good times!
