I just had the same type of 'sermon' step on my toes!! All I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a wife and mother. The Lord gave me exactly what I wanted(The desires of my heart) but am I being the wife and mother HE wants me to be? I don't think so... yes I LOVE my kids but do I love them enough and am I showing them enough? Am I teaching my daughter how to be, not just a wife and mother, but a good Christian wife and mother living by God's word. And showing my boys how to love to treat other people. Thank you for posting this because I needed to hear it again(and to be honest it's nice to know I am not the only one thinking this way!)
