This morning at daybreak,
I looked at the sky,
Today would be cloudy
The “weather not dry”
The season is winter,
But, then yesterday,
It seemed that the springtime
Had melted away
All traces of chill
That called winter weather,
But today would be rain
And would bring stormy weather.
I pondered a while
Then I wondered aloud,
Why one should feel blue
Just because of a cloud,
For a cloud has a purpose,
And holds beauty you know,
For there must be rain
So the flowers will grow,
It’s part of God’s plan
When the earth He designed,
For the rain there’s a reason,
And the season, a time.

Yep, to everything there is a purpose, and a time to every season under heaven.
