I didn’t actually see Palin with my own eyeballs. I sat in the condo 5 minutes away and watched her speech on TV. Isn’t that funny!?
I did see lots of news trucks. I did see a line of dressed up people waiting to get in to listen to her. Four ladies in fur coats walked into the hotel together while I was sitting by the steps. It was a bit of a contrast to my jean jacket, for sure.
But still… Sarah Palin and I were under the same roof. Okay, so the roof covers miles of area and more than 2,000 rooms – it’s still all connected.
How close have you been to a famous person? I can say I shook Al Roker’s hand and I was in the same hotel as Sarah Palin. Obviously I travel in different circles than famous people.
