At the Blissdom conference I received a gift certificate for The Vintage Pearl. I decided to use part of my favorite Bible verse on the necklace. It says, “all things work together for good” which is from Romans 8:28. I wanted to get the smaller inside circle with the words “to them that love God,” but I ran out of money.
I’ll admit that I spent a lot of time browsing the shop at The Vintage Pearl. The possibilities are endless! I love that if you don’t have enough to buy a whole necklace/bracelet you can just get some charms.
The 
bird charm was part of my swag bag from Blissdom also. Birds are my favorite animal and the vintage pearl uses them a lot – another reason I like her designs. I purchased the pink stone to nestle in the bird charm. Pink isn’t my birthstone. It’s just a color that will match the majority of my clothes – and I like it.
A lot of ladies get their kids names on the jewelry and I think that’s fun too. The family nest necklace was really tempting me… but I have one bracelet with their names and decided to go with something different. This part of the verse is a good reminder for me. It has helped me through many tough times.
I love customized pieces and I got to pick the words, the font, and the charms to go with this necklace. It was a fun shopping time and I’m really enjoying the necklace.
