Ya know all the snow and ice we had this past winter? I didn’t fall once! Now it’s spring and I’ve fallen twice in 10 days. What’s with that?! This time the dog knocked me down and my hands were full so my knee and my left ring finger got the brunt of it. This fall was not half as bad as the last one and would not be any worry at all except for my ring finger.
Please pray for the swelling to go down so my rings don’t have to be cut.
Meanwhile I’m becoming a champion one-handed typer.
End of the day update:
I have very helpful friends that came up with the idea of chopping off my finger – one even suggested the whole hand. That could be helpful if the replacement was a Star Wars type hand. One friend suggested heating the rings till they expand so they could slide off. With friends like these…
