I have my BlogHer conference ticket and my train fare to NYC. I just don’t have any place to sleep and hotels in NYC are super expensive! When I came across the contests at Barefoot Mommies and An Island Life I knew right away that I wanted to enter.
Next I have to figure out how to write a creative entry that will stand out from all the other great entries. Which angle do you think is the best?
The Flatterer
We love Energizer batteries at our house! We have used other brands, but they just don’t seem to last as long. I would enter the contest if the only prize was a pack of batteries! My husband buys batteries in a bulk pack and the charger is such a good idea. They are such good batteries.
Jumping Up and Down Like A Kid
Oh, it would be so-o awesome if I could win! The clock display on the Energizer battery charger would be really helpful. There’s been a couple times when I pulled the batteries out of our old charger and my husband had just put them in. That charger doesn’t work anymore, but – you know what – it was Energizer, and we used it a long time. If the new charger tells me how long the batteries need to charge I wouldn’t do that anymore!

Like. How do you tell if the battery is just worn out? Yea. We use them in a lot of different things. Ya know. Clocks. Flashlights. Toys. Cameras. Whatev-ah. After a while they just don’t charge no more. … You tellin’ me this new charger will alert me if it ain’t good no more? I could use that. Does it beep? ‘Cause I don’t care for people beepin’ at me. Ya know? If it beeps at my kid when he puts in a disposable battery though, that’d be good. Yea. It’s all good.

I really want to go to BlogHer. Sniff. There’s some really great people I want to meet. Would you pass that tissue box please? Thank you so much. If I only have one day I’ll do as much as I can, but there’s so much more I could do with two days. waaaa. I’d really-sniff- really like to win, and I’ve tried so many contests, but – sniff – I never win. waaaa. Please help me.

Isn’t that Energizer bunny the cutest? Yes. I’m sure the bunny would appreciate a round of applause. You know it never bothered me when he trotted through all those commercials. Wonder if he’s spoken for? Isn’t that pink fur the cutest?! I used to prefer tall, dark, and handsome; but I’m thinking of switching to small, pink, and cute.
Though if my kids beat a drum like that constantly I’d go totally bonkers. A mother needs some peace occasionally, right? Ya know, we mothers can’t find it even by hiding in the bathroom. One time I hid under my bed and got a little quiet that way. Until the guilt took over. It had been a long time since I cleaned under the bed.
Wonder what color his eyes are? Why does he wear those sunglasses all the time? Ya know, I’ve heard some things about people that have to wear sunglasses in the day….
