That’s not a misspelling in the title. It’s the way Chris Gallello spelled the name of the company he founded to improve photos and preserve memories.
What does Editingg do? They take the photos you send to them, work on them, and send them back in just a few days. Following are some of the adjustments they can do. You can see for yourself on their samples page.
- Basic adjustments
- Eye enhancement
- Background blurring
- Deblurring
- Facial touchup
- Object removal
Here’s a before and after of a picture they did for me.
This was a quick snapshot in the basement of our church. It has become precious since the Green Beret in the picture has gone to Heaven.
You can see how they fixed the color, the red eyes, and blurred the background a bit.
I was more impressed with the pictures on their site than the pictures I sent. I think that my pictures were not as nice to start with. I was very impressed with their speed and communication. Also, when I mentioned a part of the picture I did not like they fixed it within 24 hours.
I don’t think I would send a bunch of pictures out to be edited; I’m more of a do-it-yourself person or, more truthfully, a have-my-husband-do-it type of person. I do think it’s a great idea for special occasion pictures. Even if you already are proficient with editing your own pictures there are times when outsourcing is wonderful. Sometimes life keeps us super busy and the picture just sits. You could have Editingg enhance it for you and then all you have to do is get it printed.

As a professional photographer I’ve always been very curious about these editing services! I would love to try this one out. I do have my own style for editing but sometimes time is of the essence and I can waste much to much time editing!
