Since I Don’t Have A Blogroll Part 4

This week I’m highlighting some blogs that I like, but they don’t update every day. That’s life. Things get busy. God bless the creator/inventor/whatever of feed readers!

If you have a gmail account you already have a feed reader. There are lots of other free feed reader services. I’d love to hear your favorite one. A lot of blogs will send updates right to your email as well. If you want to subscribe to a blog look for the RSS symbol - mine is directly under my header on the right side. All you have to do is click on it and pick which service you want to use. If the blog does not have an RSS symbol [and any serious blogger should have one easily visible] you can copy the url and manually add it to your feed reader.

Then next time you want to check your favorite blogs all you have to do is open your feed reader and it will tell you which blogs updated and how many updates. Most times I read the updates right from my reader. Just remember that bloggers love comments so occasionally click through and leave some comment luv!

Here’s 4 from my reader that don’t regularly update, but I want to keep track of:

  1. From My Perspective – Anne wrote about being single and sad, but trusting the Lord and waiting. She worked in the mission field and kept on serving the Lord. Now she’s been married for one month and says that it was worth the wait. Lots of newlywed joy there lately.
  2. Modern Christian Homestead – Cyndi is a busy, homeschooling mother of 5 that is constantly thinking of ways to make money from home. I think she’d love to have a totally self-sustaining area of ground in the country. She’s also been a long time reader of my blog – so I love her!
  3. Life Nurturing Education – Renae – another homeschooler. She recently moved and really downsized her living quarters. She’s been an encouragment to me.
  4. Blue Castle – Sarah named her site after the L.M. Montgomery book that I love also. She likes bright colors and vintage art work. If I ever visit her I’m going to make sure I don’t stand still too long because I think she paints anything that doesn’t move fast enough. :) Seriously she makes her house look really nice for pennies.

  1. Oh Jendi, you are funny – and sweet too. :) I was just thinking of you the other day as I contemplated changing something around. You made a comment awhile back about my habit of re-decorating that made me smile and it pops in my head every now and then.

  2. Renae says:

    Jendi,
You encourage me by your grace! I somehow missed your kind note, but it really does mean a lot to me. Thank you!
